I must admit that herbal teas are by the far the tastiest of teas! They have a light, sweet, delicate taste, but pack a mean punch when it comes to medicinal benefits. Some of my favorites are Chamomile, Rosehip, Jasmine tea, and Rooibos.
Herbal teas are a great way to relax and calm yourself. Having trouble falling asleep? A cup of herbal tea may do the trick! See, the reason being that some herbal teas contain natural sedative properties, so falling asleep after a hot cup of tea is common.
By becoming an avid herbal tea drinker, you can reap the anti-inflammatory properties as well as antispasmodic which may help relieve cramps.
Herbal tea, is simply the combination of boiling water, herb, dried fruit, and flower. Ancient documents have been found that date back to as early as Ancient Egypt. Stated in these documents were the uses of herbal tea.
Another type of herbal tea called Rooibos, comes from a South African bush that contains just as much, if not more antioxidants than green tea. These teas have a sweet fruity taste and are naturally caffeine free.
Roobios teas are rich in vitamins and natural minerals which make this tea excellent in aiding digestion. Some health benefits one can achieve from drinking Rooibos tea are improving of digestion, good for skin, relieving of allergies, and strengthen the immune system with its high amount of vitamins and minerals.

How to Brew Herbal Tea
Start by bringing a pot of fresh water to a boil.
For herbal tea, the boiling water temperature should be 212 Degrees. Use about 1.5 Teaspoons of loose leaf tea or 1 tea bag per 8 oz cup. Steep for 5-6 minutes. Just so you know, some fruity herbal teas do not mix well with milk.
